Stogie T Suffers Backlash From Tweeps Who Think He’s Homophobic
Stogie T Suffers Backlash From Tweeps Who Think He’s Homophobic: Tweeps attacked Stogie T yesterday after he made a comment that they think might have been homophobic. A tweep had posted a picture of himself with the caption “South African queer boys lets go” to which the rapper replied, “So you guys are like gay gay? Salute man, gotta live your truth. You can count T to defend your right to be who you are”.
While some tweeps did not see anything wrong with the comment, some presumed that the comment is homophobic as they went on to attack him on social media. The gravity of the backlash he suffer from tweeps made Stogie T to proffer an apology to the offended parties in bid to salvage the situation.
Stogie T didn’t say anything homophobic here, he was just asking if they are really gay. And he went further to say he supports the Gays community. Which is an opposite of what y’all saying.

I apologize for any misunderstanding and hurt that my careless words might have caused. I’m an ally to the marginalized in our society and my music has always reflected that. Asking for mercy for all offended. I have personally apologized to @_siphiwe_n 🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/BWxSbNiVhI
